THIS IS BEAUTIFUL!!!
I could not believe how BEAUTIFUL this dress was when I got it on. If someone would of shown me the picture of it online I would of stuck my nose up to it. The picture does nothing for this dress. I am a bigger girl and it fits and looks so nice. My mom couldn't believe how different it looked in person after I showed her the picture. My consultant is the one that picked this dress!!! I can't wait to wear this down the aisle!!!!

I SAID YES
I am recently engaged and getting married in a short 8 months. To me they are short to other they seem like a life time away. I went to davids bridal last saturday for my first time ever trying on dresses. I am not a small girl definitely not after having my little boy last year. It is still in the works so to say the least I was the biggest nervous wreck trying on dresses. The first two I tried on were great I was in love but this one. This picture does not do this dress justice. My mother and Aunt we speechless let alone I could not get a word out or even explain how I felt all I could do is look in the mirror. I am now the proud owner of this amazing wedding dress. This is exactly what I have wanted since I was little. Elegant, classy, not to simple but not to much. its just PERFECT!!! Thank you for the best experience ever.

Fantastic Dress
I went out to try on dresses by myself after seeing a few of the "say yes to the dress" family drama disaster episodes and wanting to just see for myself what I liked and what felt good on me without having a bunch of people (though I love them all dearly!) chiming in about it. My plan was to find a few favorites and bring them back to make a decision.
This was the 6th dress I tried on and the search was over before it had officially begun! It looks amazing, the lace glitters in the light with all the little details. I am a bigger girl, and was looking at sizes 16-18 and was shocked how very flattering this was on me (plus the 16 in this fit better than the 18s in other styles which is just the extra ego boost a bride needs during all the stress of planning a wedding)! Its beautiful and classy, not too simple or too flashy, and looks great with either the full slip or without (like the picture shows) I ended up buying right off the rack because it looked so great and fit so well!

I don't know where to start.
I'm a full figure, plus size bride to be and I suppose I was a little intimidated by trying on a wedding dress. I want to look gorgeous on my wedding day, and I was so body conscious that I studied everything I could about what I needed in a dress to flatter my shape. Honestly, I wasn't looking to buy my dress when I went to David's, I wanted to check out shape and style first. I had seen this dress in the online catalog, and I loved it, it fit most of my criteria, but I was open to trying on anything just to see the fit.
I suppose I had an awful look on my face when we went to try the dresses. My consultant and a few other consultants commented on how unhappy I looked and I couldn't even comment on that cause I was already frustrated and we hadn't even started yet. Again, I wasn't there to buy one, and this dress in particular wasn't even on my mind.
The consultant pulled a few dresses for me and we started the task. The first one was really pretty, but it was so heavy and hot and my wedding is in July, outside....so....on to the next one...
I tried on about three or four dresses and I looked like a marshmallow in all of them and my consultant was so helpful but we just weren't hitting the mark. Finally, I told her what 3 dresses I liked from their website, and two of them weren't in their catalog, they were online only, but this one they had in the store and it happened to be my favorite anyway, so she pulled the dress after teasing me a bit about not mentioning it right off from the start. There were no mirrors inside the changing room so I had no idea, but I loved how it felt on my body. The look on my consultant's face had changed and her eyes lit up a bit, but I just figured she was there to sell me a dress, so I stepped out in it. I had brought my two BMs and my girlfriend/fiancee and I saw the look on their faces too, and then I turned to the mirror and was blown away. All my frustration and anxiousness came spilling out and I unexpectedly burst into tears. I looked at my girls and all three of them were crying too and I just couldn't stop smiling. It was gorgeous, I felt gorgeous. The catalogs don't do it justice. I didn't even look at another dress. My only frustration now, is I have to wait until October to pick it up!!!
