PERFECTION! When I tried on this dress,I knew it was the one! September 1, 2009
love at first sight!!! when i tried this dress on i knew it was the one. so flattering, so comfortable. we were planning an outdoor reception and i needed a gown that was easy to get around in. i cant think of any negatives about this gown. everyone loved it and thought i looked so beautiful. everyone said it was so much more elegant than a strapless gown. you wont find a better one than this!!! Great Beach Dress I wore this dress when my husband and I renewed our vows on the beach July 3rd 2009...it was awesome. The dress is light weight and looked great on the beach and in the ball room...one thing; make sure the bustle is high enough..mine was a little low and was stepped on alot that night! Otherwise the dress looked stunning! July 17, 2009
Vintage Inspired-Never Out of Style I absolutely LOVE this gown. I have the advantage of working for a WEDDING MAGAZINE and getting to see and try on many dresses over the years, so i have experienced 1st hand how truly UNCOMFORTABLE many of the dresses are, especially those by HIGH-END DESIGNERS, which are too heavy and bulky to truly be comfortable. I bought this gown in champage/ivory for a January wedding. My wedding is being held in heart of Philadelphia in a 200 YEAR OLD RENOVATED THEATER and my fiance and I are going for a "VINTAGE ELEGANCE" theme. I envisioned a "JACKIE O" look that would be ELEGANT and SOPHISTICATED from a cphotography stand point for YEARS TO COME. At $800, this dress was much more than I expected. The gown is so BEAUTIFULLY BEADED & the lace has that ANTIQUED LOOK to it, which perfectly captures the look i was going for. I wanted a gown that would NEVER BE DATED-when you looked back at pictures, you couldnt tell what year we were married (ie- 80s wedding dresses/early 90s...very dated). This was not only the PERFECT choice, but was also VERY comfortable to SIT, MOVE AROUND, & DANCE in, which is surprisingly HARD TO FIND. It also fit like a glove and only needed to be hemmed and bustled! If you buy this dress, ycou will be COMPLETELY & UTTERLY satisfied and totally in your GLORY! Save that gown money and put it somewhere else. The designer gowns are NOT WORTH IT. Plus, alterations are SO MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE. June 27, 2009
