Giddy for this dress
I had seen this dress on the website, while making my favorites list and really liked it. I didn't add it to my list though, because as a girl with larger hips I didn't think a trumpet gown would look good on me.
While at David's I tried on about 4-5 dresses I liked, but none of which gave me that feeling you should have about your wedding dress. I asked my consultant about this dress and we found it in the catalog... needless to say I loved it right away. I tried on the ivory/champagne combination and it is classic, fun, vintage, and so me all together. I LOVE this dress and can't wait to wear it next June when I get married.

Surprise!
As many here have already stated, this dress looks bad on the hanger. The bridal consultant picked it out, and I did not like the beads and sequins (I had wanted plain lace). However, once it was on, there was no dress more comfortable and becoming. The sequins will show up in photographs, but are not gaudy, and the beading is tiny and unobtrusive. Like the other ladies said, I knew this was the one the moment I tried it on.

Perfection!
This dress looked as though I had it made for me. I wore the ivory, and it was perfection. I am 5'11", so I had to get extra length. I had bra cups put in and a bustle.
We got married on August 20, 2011 on rocks in the middle of a creek. I love this dress and how I look in it. The DB picture doesn't do it justice.

Ugly on hangar, gorgeous on
this is my second marriage and I am a late thirties bride. I wanted something timeless and elegant, but different and with a vintage feel. This was the first dress I tried on when I wasn't even really trying to look for dresses yet, bc my wedding was a year away. My mom, sister and moh all loved this dress, and the funny thing was that I picked this dress out online before even going to the store. My sister had pulled it from the rack and my mother was like...No way....but once I tried it on, I said this was the dress I picked out. I must have tried on about 100 dresses ....then finally went back to DB to try on a few more I liked in the catalogue, but bought this one because after I put it back on, I knew it was the look I wanted. This dress looks horrible on the hangar....and the pictures do not show how pretty this dress really is.
