Incredible! I word this dress for my wedding in August of 2012. I loved everything about it! The all over lace was intricate and beautiful. The subtle beading gave it just the right amount of sparkle. It paired beautifully with my yellow and gray wedding with roses and lillies. This dress made me feel sexy, elegant and classic. It was a big hit with my guests and photographed beautifully. I love wedding gowns and look at them all the time and I have never seen one that makes me regret my choice. I only wish I could wear it again and again! June 4, 2014

Class and Elegance I was married 2/8/14 on a beautiful winter day. This dress was fitted perfectly. I had a bustle placed, but I prefer the dress with the train down. The dress has been preserved at the request of my 20 yr old daughter. It truly is a fantastic dress. It is lace over champagne and just so pretty. May 29, 2014
Timeless, elegant, classic Just like my husband, this dress was love at first site. It was literally the first one I tried on. I knew I did not want a strapless dress, which narrowed down my search significantly. I immediately fell in love with the simplicity and elegance of this dress. It is a very timeless, classic style, very flattering on many body types. I loved the fact that it is a white overlay atop an ivory satin-like lining, so at first glance it looks white, but it's not a really harsh stark white. The deep V cut in the back is stunning, and photographed beautifully. I am 5'5 and about 120lbs. I bought this in size 4, however had a fair bit of fabric taken in on my waist, as well as shortened the straps as they were quite long. The length was perfect. I also had bra cups sewn in as I certainly did not want a strapless melting off me in the day's heat or the risk my bra showing out of the back. I was talked into having a bustle put in on my dress in the store, however I regret having it, as I never used it once. If dancing will be a major part of the reception, it's probably worthwhile, but I did not really have the opportunity to dance much, so it was worthless. The silhouette of the dress off the rack is a very subtle trumpet style. My body type is a true hourglass shape, I felt the subtle trumpet actually downplayed my top half and made my bottom half look bigger, and I honestly felt it was a bit frumpy overall So I took this dress to a trusted dress maker to change the silhouette into a proper mermaid dress by taking it in around my hips. The dress maker was a true professional and ended up not cutting a single piece of the dress, in fact I could simply pick her work and come out with the exact same dress I bought. She pleated the excess fabric inwards just above my knees (where I chose to have the tightest part of the dress, so I could still walk) so it still fell really full at the bottom but was tight and smooth until it came out. It took a few fittings but the end result was perfect for my body and personal taste, and exactly as I envisioned. I was so happy with the dress overall. I had so many compliments on the detail of the bust and the back. It really is exquisite bead work, even being off an assembly line from China. For the cost, it really is high enough quality to last your wedding day and photograph beautifully. Several women even came up to me at my wedding and said, if they could get married all over again they would have chosen something just like it. The final piece of my dress, pieces I should say, were my veils. I had a traditional church wedding, and I decided to have the cathedral veil, which is about 10 feet long, as the final detail to walk down the aisle. To get the full effect of the cathedral veil, as well as the fact that having a cathedral veil overhang one's face was not particularly practical, whilst walking forward, I decided to leave the long veil behind me, and have a shorter chapel length veil over my face. So I looked very dramatic walking down the aisle, which is exactly what I wanted, especially with a relatively simple dress. While googling this particular dress online long after I had bought it, I overcame a photo of Jenna Bush in an Oscar de la Renta gown on her wedding day, and have since decided this dress is a knock-off of that dress. Which is fine with me, I'm sure a real designer Oscar de la Renta would cost more than our entire wedding budget. But it was lovely to see how Jenna wore it and how pretty she looked. It really does go to show that this dress is very versatile. I wore mine quite formal, and I have seen photos of other brides dressing it down in a vintage simplistic fashion which is lovely too. I think the simplicity of this dress actually allows the bride's personality and style to shine through and make it what she wants, and be seen as she dreams of being seen on her special day. One of the biggest factors in choosing this dress was really because it is so timeless. I'm sure there are many women getting married now who's parents were married in the 80s as mine were, and let's just say those are very distinctive styles. A dress from the 80s is so very obviously from the 80s, and in my experience that is not always a good thing, at least that is some of the feedback I have received from women of that generation. Whereas this dress really looks as though it could be from any decade in the last millennium and I really do not foresee it dating or becoming a passing trend. So I did play it very safe so to speak, however I don't feel as though I compromised on anything because this dress really does feel like MY dress. I knew it was the one when I saw it. I am very happy with my decision, and I am sure any other bride wearing this dress will be very happy with her choice and look absolutely stunning! Happy wedding dress hunting! May 27, 2014
