YOU MUST TRY IT ON
I tried on at least 20 dresses until I found this one. I thought I had actually fell in love with another dress and on our 2nd trip I had my dad come with me and my mom. I showed him all my favorites and when I put on this one he quickly ran away! (he's emotional and doesn't like to show it ;) ) I tried on what was my orginal favorite and it just didn't compare. This dress is stunning and it was the only dress I actually started to cry in! I didn't want to take it off! Pictures do not do it justice at all. Still deciding if I want to add a slip or not but I never thought I would end up in this style of dress for my wedding day! Can't wait for it to come in September!

I added this dress to my "try-on, but not the style I'm looking for" pile when I was in the store... The styles I was looking at were pretty but didn't do much for me when I actually put them on. Then I tried this one on and my mom and neighbor, and I admit, me as well, were like.... "This is the one." Ever vigilant, even though I felt it as soon as I put it on, I tried on several others still, but put this one back on about 3 more times whenever I felt there was another contender... And it still felt like nothing could compete! I am busty, and hippy and pretty short with a shorter torso.. This one fit like a glove! Elegant and understated... Perfect! You won't be sorry!

Classic Beauty
I was going to wait for the professional photos to come in but I wanted to share my experience with other brides-to-be!
I must have tried on 30+ dresses and was getting kind of frustrated after a while. I have lots of curves so it was hard to find something I liked on me. I finally asked the girl at the store to pick out some dresses for me that were completely different from the "ballgown" style I had been looking at. She brought so many beautiful dresses and I finally had a "maybe" list going. This was the very last dress I had to try on. I will be honest, I didn't care for it on the hanger. I gave it a chance and once I had it on, I started to cry in the dressing room. I hadn't even seen it in a mirror yet but it brought me to tears. It just felt right. After a few alterations and the crinoline skirt underneath, this was the dress of my dreams. With the help of my maid of honor, I chose a birdcage veil to complete the look. My new husband's jaw dropped when he saw me for the first time :)

Love this dress!
Like the other reviews say, I didn't immediately go to this dress. I just wasn't sure about lace, but my father (yes he came, he only has two daughters :)) picked it out of the catalog in the store and insisted I try it on. And I loved it! It has a great shape and the lace and beading are really elegant without being too much. The beads do snag a little but they are not on the lace so if they come off they don't ruin the dress. It wasn't heavy at all. I did use a slip to give it some shape at the bottom. And the bustling was a little complicated since the lace isn't attached.
Overall, I am super pleased with my purchase! We got married July 2011 and still excited just thinking about it!
