"I purchased the dress in the color "royal". Unfortunately, it is darker than it appears on the internet site. It is an exact match to the bridesmaids' dresses we purchased in the color "marine". Both appear navy blue. It wouldn't be good for the mother of the groom to wear the same shade as the bridesmaids (wouldn't want to appear that I was trying to copy), so although the dress is really nicely made and fits fairly well, I will be returning it. Also, if you want to take off the jacket, you will need a strapless bra, as the straps and sides don't cover a bra."
